1: Monday 2nd October 2017
We fly from London (Heathrow) to Denver. From Denver we drive north
to Fort Collins.

2: Tuesday 3rd October 2017
Our journey takes us north into Wyoming via Laramie and Rawlins
and a visit to the Ghost Towns of South Pass and Atlantic City.

3: Wednesday 4th October 2017
We make an early start for Yellowstone. We will make many stops
along the way including Oxbow Bend, Colter Lake, Lewis Falls and
West Thumb.

4: Thursday 5th October 2017
On our first visit to the park we drive along the Madison River
to explore the Fountain Paint Pots, Midway Geyser Basin, Biscuit
Basin and Black Sands Basin and a whole lot more.

5: Friday 6th October 2017
Our second day takes us north to Norris Geyser Basin, The Grand
Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley and much more.

6: Saturday 7th October 2017
We depart before dawn to photograph sunrise on the Madison River
and spend the rest of the day in Yellowstone National Park.

7: Sunday 8th October 2017
We depart before dawn to visit Alum Creak and see the sun rise over
the Yellowstone River. The remainder of the day is spent visiting
Mammoth Hot Springs and the surrounding areas.

8: Monday 9th October 2017
We spend all day in Yellowstone and stay until sunset to witness
the light drop over the thermal features.

9: Tuesday 10th October 2017
We drive south through the park to the Grand Teton National Park.
We can explore the golden aspens along the Snake River and visit
many famous views.

10: Wednesday 11th October 2017
Up before dawn to capture the light on the Grand Teton with a visit
to the abandoned Moulton Barn at Antelope Flats. The remainder of
the day is spent exploring Jackson Hole where we may see beaver,
moose or even big horned sheep.

11: Thursday 12th October 2017
We are up before dawn to capture the light over the Grand Teton
Range with either a visit to the abandoned Moulton Barn or Schwabachers
Landing. After lunch we continue south to Rock Springs.

12: Friday 13th October 2017
Our journey continues south past Flaming Gorge and Dinosaur National
Monument to Grand Junction. In the afternoon, we drive cross-country
to Glenwood Springs.

13: Saturday 14th October 2017
We travel along the north side of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
We explore the surrounding countryside, which is littered with vast
stands of aspens that turn the hillsides golden.

14: Sunday 15th October 2017
Our travels take us south to the old mining towns of Ouray and Silverton.
Here the mountains will be golden with the thousands of autumn aspens.
We stop in Silverton to photograph the old mining town before continuing
south to Durango.

15: Monday 16th October 2017
We will spend the morning with a detour to Chama to follow the Cumbres
& Toltec Railroad to Antonito through the Aspen covered mountains
before we travel onto Alamosa. In the late afternoon, we will visit
Great Sand Dunes National Park to record the evening light on the
dunes.

16: Tuesday 17th October 2017
We take an early breakfast before continuing north to Poncha Springs
and then east to Colorado Springs where we visit the famous USAF
Chapel. Our journey ends in Denver.

17: Wednesday 18th October 2017
We enjoy our breakfast before heading to the Airport to join our
return flight to the UK.

We arrive the next morning having lost 7 hours on our return journey.
