1: Thursday 5th November 2020
We fly from London (Heathrow) to Antananarivo, Madagascar via Paris.
We arrive at 22:15hrs and transfer to our hotel close to the Airport.

2: Friday 6th November 2020
Today we transfer by road on our 4 hour journey to Eastern Rainforest
of Andasibe-Manatadia National Park. After arrival we will experience
a guided afternoon and night walk.

3: Saturday 7th November 2020
We drive the short distance to Mantadia National Park where we spend
the day exploring with our guided tour. The park is home to the
diademed Sifaka and White Ruffed Lemur as well many other animals
including frogs and reptiles

4: Sunday 8th November 2020
We have a full day visit to Analamazaotra Special Reserve home to
the rare and large Indri Indri Lemur. In the evening we visit Volmma
Forest, home of the tiny Mouse Lemur and a variety of chameleons.

Day 5: Monday 9th November 2020
Today we will have a half day guided visit to the Torotorofotsy
Wetlands. Here we find a host of water dwellers, including birds,
lemurs, frogs and chameleons. In the afternoon you can rest or explore
locally before a final night walk

6: Tuesday 10th November 2020
Today we return to Antananarivo by road. In the afternoon we enjoy
some photography as we tour the city.

7: Wednesday 11th November 2020
We travel south along the famous RN7 for 4hrs to the city of Antsirabe.
On our journey we will stop of to visit the Aluminium Smelter. In
the afternoon we will enjoy a rickshaw tour of the city.

8: Thursday 12th November 2020
Our journey takes us 5 hours south to Ranomafana National Park and
en route we will stop at Ambositra to photograph the wood carving
capital of Madagascar. We enjoy an evening forest walk.

9: Friday 13th November 2020
We have a full day exploring the Ranomafana National Park with a
local specialist guide. Here we can find the Golden Bamboo Lemur
in addition to 11 other species of lemur, 13 types of chameleon
and 120 types of frog

10: Saturday 14th November 2020
We have a long journey south today to Isalo National Park home of
the iconic Ring Tailed Lemurs. Along our journey we will make frequent
stops for photography and take a break for lunch.

11: Sunday 15th November 2020
Today we make our first visit to Isalo National Park, set amid soaring
sandstone formations, huge canyons and waterfalls. The park is home
to an incredible mix of flora and fauna including the Verreaux’s
Sifaka, Rainbow Frog and Benson’s Rock Thrush to name but
a few.

12: Monday 16th November 2020
We spend our second day in Isalo National park. For our two days
here we will plan our visits to cover as much of the park as we
can allowing the option of a free afternoon if required.

13: Tuesday 17th November 2020
We continue our southward journey to Ifaty. En route we will stop
at Zombitse National Park where we will take a guided walk. The
park has eight species of lemur within the traditional forest and
sandstone domes that make up the terrain. After our visit we complete
our journey to the coast and the fishing village of Ifaty.

14: Wednesday 18th November 2020
We make an early morning visit to Reinala Private Reserve to witness
the sunrise over the Baobab trees. The park also has a botanical
trail and a bird sanctuary. In the afternoon we visit the Reef Doctor
Honko Conservation Project an area of mangrove which is home to
many wetland birds. In the evening we return to Reinala Private
Reserve for our final dinner amongst the Baobabs.

15: Thursday 19th November 2020
We have a free morning to relax or explore the fishing harbour.
In the late afternoon we transfer to the airport for our flight
back to Antananarivo. On arrival we will transfer to a local hotel
for a meal. We will then return to the airport for our return flight
to London.

16: Friday 20th November 2020
Just after midnight we join out flight to London. This takes us
via Paris arriving at London Heathrow in the early afternoon |
