Adventure 2017
In November, we will be visiting the amazing Hawaiian Island situated in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. Here we will have the opportunity to photograph this exciting tropical location and, to maximise our visit, we will be spending time on the three main islands of Maui, Big Island and Oahu with five nights on each. In addition, we will have a short stop-over in San Francisco on our journey to the islands. 
Our tour will start with a full day in San Francisco which will allow us ample time to visit some of the best locations such as the Golden Gate Bridge, and Treasure Island as well as many other exciting parts of the city. We then fly onto Maui, spending the next five nights in Kaluilui. From here we explore the Haleakala National Park, the Lava Trail and the wild coastline of this rugged island. In addition, we will see if conditions are fair for some whale watching at Lahaina. From here we fly to Big Island where we spend another five nights. Here we can explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the southern part of the park to Kena Point, Kamoamoa and Kilauea. We will explore the island’s interior and coastline north to Waimea and Hawi.
The last section of our visit will be on Oahu when we fly to Honolulu, our base for the final five nights. The highlights here include the famous Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbour, site of the infamous Japanese attack that brought the USA into the 2nd World War. Of course, the island has much more to explore and our days will be full as we enjoy the photography on offer. The Hawaiian Islands are quite rightly renowned for their wild volcanic landscapes, tropical interior, wild seas and amazing beaches, all of which will offer an exciting opportunity for photography making this tour one not to be missed. |
