Hawaiian Adventure 2017
Monday 20th November – Friday 8th December 2017

Day 1: Monday 20th November 2017
We fly from London to San Francisco and arrive in time to visit the city for the evening light.

Day 2: Tuesday 21st November 2017
We take a tour of San Francisco, the Golden Gate, Fisherman’s Wharf etc.

Day 3: Wednesday 22nd November 2017
We travel to the Airport to join our flight to Hawaii. On arrival in Maui we transfer to our hotel.

Day 4: Thursday 23rd November 2017
We spend the day exploring the South East area of the island following the coast road to Hana.

Day 5: Friday 24th November 2017
We make an early start to explore Haleakala National Park and the Lava Trail near Kanaio.

Day 6: Saturday 25th November 2017
We make an early start to Lahaina where we will take a whale watching trip and enjoy the evening light along the western coast.

Day 7: Sunday 26th November 2017
We explore the North of the Island around Nakele and Lipoa Points and the Iao Valley.

Day 8: Monday 27th November 2017
We head to the airport to join our flight to the Big Island arriving in Hilo which will be our base for the next three nights. We will have time to explore in the afternoon.

Day 9: Tuesday 28th November 2017
We explore to the North East of the Island following the cost north to Waimea and Hawi. We return along the northwest coastline.

Day 10: Wednesday 29th November 2017
We make an early start and spend the day exploring the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the southern part of the park to Kena Point, Kamoamoa and Kilauea.

Day 11: Thursday 30th November 2017
We leave Hilo and follow the road around the southern half of the island through Punaluu and Naalehu and onto South Point. We travel north along the coast to Honaunau.

Day 12: Friday 1st December 2017
We explore to the north along the western coast of Big Island visiting Kawaihae and the Axonii Pule Highway.

Day 13: Saturday 2nd December 2017
We depart for the airport to join our flight to Oahu and Honolulu. On arrival, we head for our hotel in Honolulu before spending the afternoon exploring eastward to Makapuu Point.

Day 14: Sunday 3rd December 2017
Today we drive north to the famous Waimea Bay, famous for its giant waves and as a centre for surfing. We will also explore along the coast to Kahuku.

Day 15: Monday 4th December 2017
We head west to visit the legendary Pearl Harbour. Now a National Park the location is infamous for the Japanese attack and commemorates the many ships that were sunk and lives lost. We return for evening light along Waikiki Beach.

Day 16: Tuesday 5th December 2017
Today we explore the eastern coast form Makapuu Point towards Kahaku following the coast road past Kaneohe Bay, Kahan Bay, Hauula and Laie Bay.

Day 17: Wednesday 6th December 2017
Our last day in Hawaii is spent exploring the western coastline north from Kapolei, past Maili to Makua Beach or other locations we have already visited in different conditions.

Day 18: Thursday 7th December 2017
We prepare for our return journey and depart to Honolulu International Airport for our return flight via San Francisco or Los Angeles.

Day 19: Friday 8th December 2017
Arrive back in UK next morning having lost 10 hours on our return.
