Monday 28th September 2020
We fly from London to Denver. From Denver we drive north to Fort
Collins.

2: Tuesday 29th September 2020
Our journey takes us north into Wyoming via Laramie and Rawlins
and a visit to the Ghost Towns of South Pass and Atlantic City.

3: Wednesday 30th September 2020
We make an early start for Yellowstone. We will make many stops
along the way including Oxbow Bend, Colter Lake, Lewis Falls and
West Thumb en route.

4: Thursday 1st October 2020
On our first visit to the park we drive along the Madison River
to explore the Fountain Paint Pots, Midway Geyser Basin, Biscuit
Basin and Black Sands Basin and a whole lot more.

5: Friday 2nd October 2020
Our second day takes us north to Norris Geyser Basin, The Grand
Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley and much more.

6: Saturday 3rd October 2020
We head north to Mammoth Hot Springs and then explore around Gardiner.
In the afternoon we head to Tower and then along the Lamar Valley
to Cooke City. After dinner in Cooke City we return to our hotel.

7: Sunday 4th October 2020
Weather permitting we make a pre-dawn start to capture the sunrise
at Madison Meadow and then Tangled Creek before breakfast at Old
Faithful and our exploration of the Upper Geyser Basin.

8: Monday 5th October 2020
We spend all day in Yellowstone before photographing the sunset
and witnessing the light drop over the thermal features.

9: Tuesday 6th October 2020
We drive south through Yellowstone to the Grand Teton National Park.
We can explore the golden aspens along the Snake River and visit
many famous views.

10: Wednesday 7th October 2020
Before dawn we leave to visit to the abandoned Moulton Barn at Antelope
Flats to capture it in the dawn light against the backdrop of the
Grand Teton Range. The remainder of the day is spent exploring Jackson
Hole where we may see beaver, moose or even big horned sheep.

11: Thursday 8th October 2020
We are up before dawn to capture the light over the Grand Teton
Range with either a visit to the abandoned Moulton Barn or Schwabachers
Landing. After lunch we continue south to Rock Springs.

12: Friday 9th October 2020
Our journey continues south past Flaming Gorge and Dinosaur National
Monument. In the afternoon, we drive across country to Glenwood
Springs.

13: Saturday 10th October 2020
An early start for Aspen to photograph Independence Pass and Maroon
Bells. We then head west to Marble Canyon and over McClure Pass.
These areas are covered in aspen groves.

14: Sunday 11th October 2020
Our travels take us south via the Dallas Divide to the old mining
towns of Ouray and Silverton. Here the mountains will be golden
with the thousands of autumn aspens. We stop in Silverton to join
the train as it journeys south to Durango.

15: Monday 12th October 2020
We will spend the morning with a detour to Chama to follow the Cumbres
& Toltec Railroad to Antonito through the aspen covered mountains
before we travel onto Alamosa. In the late afternoon, we will visit
Great Sand Dunes National Park to record the evening light on the
dunes.

16: Tuesday 13th October 2020
We take an early breakfast before continuing north to Poncha Springs
and then east to the famous resort of Colorado Springs where we
visit the famous USAF Chapel. Our journey ends in Denver.

We breakfast before heading to the Airport to join our return flight
to the UK.

18: Thursday 15th October 2020
We arrive the next morning having lost 7 hours on our return journey.
